Calculation of time difference in the Earth Year and calendar year

Unique calendar is a calendar where we can find the day from any date from 1/1/1 to any future date. This calendar clear all the confusions related to the leap year.

Main features of Unique Calendar
It contains four plates, Table 1 Table 2, Table 3, Table 4
Table 1 is a calendar of 400 years.

Table two contains month codes.

Table three contains the dates.
Table four contains days.

It contains seven year ranges, These are the cycles of this calendar-

Question : Name the year in which September month have only 19 days ?

With this article we will provide you the answer to this question as well as the complete explanation to the fact behind it.

Julian Calendar:-
The Julian calendar was the 365-day calendar that Julius Caesar made official in 46 B.C. It replaced a calendar based on lunar cycles.

The Julian calendar provided for a leap year with extra day every four years. Thus, the Julian calendar included an average of 365.25 days (365 days, 6 hours) each year.

Gregorian Calendar:-
Today's calendar is the Gregorian calendar. Pope Gregory XIII corrected the Julian calendar to make the present day calendar true in 1582. He introduced this  calendar from October, 1582.

Number of days in a non-leap year = 365 days

Number of days in a leap year = 366 days

According to the Julian calendar the year which is divisible by 4(or multiple of 4) is called a leap year.
But this fact is not true with all the years.  For example  4, 8, 12, 16, …………96 all are multiples of 4 and are the leap years.
But 100th , 200th , 300th , years are also the multiples of 4 but these are not  the leap years. The fact  is well explained here.

Calendar Year:-
While making the calendar we take time 365 days and 6 hours. This time is called the calendar year.

Earth Year :-
Earth complete one revolution around the Sun in 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 48( 45 adjusted)  seconds. This time is called the Earth year.

So there is a time difference between the Earth year and the Calendar year.
The extra time in Gregorian calendar year is adjusted as follows.

Calendar Year      =  365 days 6 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds

             OR            =  365 days  5 hours  59 minutes  60 seconds
Earth Year               - 365 days  5 hours  48 minutes  48 seconds
                                  _____________________________________
Difference              =      0 days  0 hours  11 minutes  12 seconds

Extra time in our calendar in one year  =  11 minutes 12 seconds

Extra time in our calendar in 100 Years = 11 X 100 minutes 12 X 100 seconds

                                                             = 1100 minutes 1200 seconds(20 minutes)

                                                             = 1120 minutes

 = 18 hours  40 minutes

According to our calendar year 100th year should be a leap year. But in order to adjust above extra time we have to subtract 1 day (24 hours) from the 100th year. Due to this 100th year not remain the leap year.

Similarly we subtract one day from 200th and  300th year so that these years also have 365 days and are becomes non-leap years.

Now we have less time in our calendar = 24 hours – 18 hours  40 minutes

                                                           =   23 hours 60 minutes
                                                              - 18 hours 40 minutes
                                                           _____________________
                                                           =    5 hours 20 minutes

Less time in our calendar in 100 years =  5 hours 20 minutes

Less time in our calendar in 200 years =  (5 hours 20 minutes) X 2

Less time in our calendar in 300 years =  (5 hours 20 minutes) X 3

Less time in our calendar in 400 years =  (5 hours 20 minutes) X 4

                                                                 =  5 X 4 hours  20 X 4 minutes

                                                                 = 20 hours 80 minutes

                                                                = 21 hours 20 minutes

According to the previous calculation for the 100th year,  400th year should be a non leap year.

But in order to adjust above less time (21 hours 20 minutes)  we have to add 1 day  in 400th year.
So that number of days in this year becomes 366 and it becomes a leap year.

In this way Gregorian Calendar adjust the extra time in the calendar. But still there is some time difference left.

Results from above calculation:-
  • All years which are multiples of 4 are called leap year.
  • Only century years which are the multiples of 400 are the leap year.
  • All century years which are not the multiples of 400 (like 100, 200, 300, 500, 900, 1100, 1400, 1900, 2200, ....etc) are not the leap years.

Even after this adjustment there is some extra time (2 hours  40 minutes) left in our calendar.

Due to this extra time we have seen that all multiples of 400 are leap years but 3600th year again is not a leap year. This is explained as follows.

Now again there is extra time in our calendar   = 24 hours – 21 hours  20 minutes

                                                                       =   23 hours 60 minutes
                                                                           -21 hours  20 minutes
                                                                          _____________________
                                                                       =    2 hours  40 minutes

Extra time in our calendar in 400 years   =  2 hours  40 minutes

Extra time in our calendar in 800 years   =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 2

Extra time in our calendar in 1200 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 3

Extra time in our calendar in 1600 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 4

Extra time in our calendar in 2000 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 5

Extra time in our calendar in 2400 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 6

Extra time in our calendar in 2800 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 7

Extra time in our calendar in 3200 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 8

Extra time in our calendar in 3600 years  =  (2 hours  40 minutes) X 9

                                                                        = 2 X 9 hours  40 X 9 minutes

                                                                        = 18 hours  360 minutes

                                                                        = 24 hours

According to the previous calculation for 400 year, 3600th  year will be the leap year with  24 hours (1 day) extra.
In order to adjust this time we subtract 1 day from 3600th year. So that 3600th year not remain the leap year. 3600th year is a multiple of 400 but it is not a leap year.

3600 becomes the complete cycle of earth year and all multiples of 3600 are non- leap years.

Here we see that complete time is properly adjusted in 3600 years  and all years multiples of 3600  are the non-leap year.

At present most of the country in the world follow the Gregorian Calendar. Different country adopt this calendar at different times.

In United Kingdom, Julian calendar was replaced by Gregorian calendar in September, 1752.

To make the time adjustment in the calendar, September month left with the 19 days in 1752, in the history of United Kingdom.

Due to this the calendar shows 14th September date immediate after 2nd September.

This complete adjustment of earth year in 3600 years motivated us to make a unique calendar with complete time adjustment.
With the help of this unique calculation we  made a UNIQUE CALENDAR with the help of which we can find the day from any date of history or future.
